WOW! Brad Pitt's Moneyball Loses to Lion King 3D At Box Office

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the re-release of the Disney animated classic pulled in $22.1 million this weekend ($61.7 million domestically so far), putting it on track to pass Pixar's Finding Nemo and nab the number three spot on Top-Grossing Animated Film of All Time list.

Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill's latest flick, Moneyball, fell short on attempting to knock The Lion King 3D out... of its number one box office spot, which it's held for the second week in a row. Moneyball grossed $20.6 million -- just a smidge more than Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd's Dolphin Tale, which also opened this weekend and took in an estimated $20.3 million as of Sunday night.
